hammer25, yes but i'd never install fedora on a server due to its lifecycle

if you want something free based off RH.. look into centos

well, right now i'm just looking for a basic install (with gui ’cause i'm a noob…)
they take redhat enterprise source rpms and rebuild them

and also, i didn't quite get the diff between red hat and fedora ?
nothing worse then getting almost done with the install and finding out you need cd4

fedora is the community supported version of RH basically
its like beta for what might go into RHEL
