Add a flag to the x window system start

where is the x window system started in FC5 by default?
Where can i add a flag to it?
its started using init
/etc/init.d/
to change init levels
or init 3
to check runlevel …
runlevel
right i looked there but didn't see anything regarding X / xdm /gdm
xorg.conf
right.. but that doesn't have the startup X flags in it such as -audit and such
/etc/X11
/etc/X11/gdm/
