New dvd burner and macromedia flash problems

i have new dvd burner windows xp can see the burner when i insert a empty dvd the the green light keeps flashing and the burner cant recognize the dvd(cant recognize only empty dvd's). then i tryed it on another computer and it worked just fine i tryed 2 play with the jumpers and the same nothing sloved the problem. i need help please.
i got problem with macromedia flash over webbrowsers
the movie/animation is running but no sound
someone noticed that problem too?


does anyone know where I can get a driver for my Adaptec AIC-7890 scsi controller to put on a floppy so I can install the SCSI drivers during install so I can boot off my SCSI disk?
the installer formats the scsi drive, but doesn't boot from it
it gives me errors upon boot

I had to d/l drivers for a dell poweredge server a few days back. had to load 2000 Server from scratch onto it
it has a couple of built in adaptec controllers

in windows, when u want to move more then one folder from different places,but u want to start them all at the same time, how would u do that?

if they were all inside the same window, you could select them all and copy, but dont know a way if theyre in diff folders

well not boot, but just power on
