What's the problem?

the website isn't loading…
I've only just managed to get the admin login screen to load
but the main website page is taking ages to load
and we're on a dedicated server
which isn't even being hit that heavily, traffic wise
(I'm guessing looking at the number of hits in the logs)

hi… i'm trying to integrate better the joomla-phpbb bridge.. What is this: it bind the joomla database to the phpbb database, but they are separated…
when in the phpbb forum if i hit "log in" i get redirected to the joomla login (due to the joomla bridge), after the log in i got redirected to the phpbb forum.. i want that the redirection to the phpbb forum to be on the same page that i was before clicking log in..
the phpbb hack pass the $url as "post" to the joomla login page, in com_login, the login.html.com file pass this url to index.html (home page of joomla) that go past the code until it reach mosRedirect( $return ); (line 167) i checked in the mosRedirect function too.. that $url reach that point in the right way.. but it doesn't redirect to the $url page.. it should work, but it doesnt.. i think this is

I'd far rather just move. I get 15 megabit fiber for the price I'm paying right now for 1.5 megabit (ya, right. MAYBE actually HALF that speed) cable, AND the place I'm moving to has a park, a swimming pool, and is within spitting distance of a grocery store and a light-rail stop.
There's the other complaint I have with Comcast. They ADVERTISE 1.5 megabit, and then only give about HALF that speed in actual use. At least with DSL I consistently got VERY close to the advertised speed almost all the time.

I've had SO many customers willing to pay me just about anything to save them from the M$ tech support solution.
Most of them would have lost thousands of dollars in business while their computers were down being formatted and reinstalled, not to mention the MASSIVE amount of totally CRITICAL data they would have lost PERMANENTLY if they had actually LISTENED to M$ tech support and gone ahead with a format and reinstall. You'd be shocked at how FEW businesses actually keep backups here.
