Both of these come pre-configured and are easy to install and use. Below information may assist with installation, starting, stopping or removing the versions.

Installing packages

CentOS and Fedora

[root@test ~]# yum install eroute-geronimo

Debian and Ubuntu

For Debian and Ubuntu systems use apt-get install, rest of the installation procedure is the same.

Starting and stopping Geronimo

To start Geronimo:

service geronimo start

To stop Gernimo:

service geronimo stop

... or ...

killall -9 java

Restarting Geronimo can be achieved by combining the above commands or using:

service geronimo restart

Changing Geronimo version

You can change the version of your Geronimo service easily.

Stop the currently running service if any:

service geronimo stop

Remove the existing instlalation:

yum remove eroute-geronimo

Now you can reinstall or install a different version of your choice.
