are susceptible to failure. In cases of hard drive failure it can take
between 8 and 24hours to reinstall the system and bring your website back
online. This can result in data loss, lost sales, lost emails and a huge
inconvenience for you. Even though harddrive failure itself may not be
predictable or preventable, consequences of it ARE. That is why
Oxxus.net has RAID
configured servers to eliminate these risks. With RAID the downtime
due to hard drive failures is brought down to ZERO. How? 2nd hard drive
replaces the main one and the server goes on working uninterrupted. You
and your customers won't even notice the harddrive had failed!
System Failure Precautions
Daily
Server Back Ups
Regular daily back ups of the system and all the
web sites are performed on all the servers.
This way, even if the worst happens, we'll always be able to retrieve
the latest version of your website.
Don't risk losing any data because your web host does not want to use
extra resources to back up your site. Site back ups use up a lot of resources
(cost money) which is why a lot of hosts don't practice regular site back
ups. We on the other hand learned the importance of backing up the hard
way and now we wouldn't dare not to do it.

If the system fails, thanks to backups, your website will be restored
to it's original state. No data will be lost in the process.
Human Error
Mistakes can happen to the best of us and they can't always be prevented
no matter how careful we are. We're only human after all. Not covering
yourself in case of possible mistake is the biggest mistake of all. Our
daily backup system is your best protection against human error. Having
backups means you can have your site reversed to the yesterdays working
version without losing your work. Please note that backups are overwritten
by the new version daily. In case you need to recover data, you'll need
to act fast and contact us immediately after you first become aware of
the error.
Manual Fraud Scanning Procedures

Fact: ~50% of all internet purchases are fraudulent (in the hosting

When a fraudster is allowed on the server, server's in danger of DDOS
attacks, hacking attacks and a whole range of other illegal activities.
Fraudsters put the entire server and all websites in jeopardy and can
cause irreparable damage.

trained to detect fraud with 99.5% accuracy. Fraudsters are getting very
